William D. Justice, NCTM

William Justice is a local teaching artist and actor. He holds a BA in Music from Birmingham-Southern College, and a MFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy, a bicoastal premier art school located in New York City and Los Angeles. William is a triple certificated instructor, recognized by the Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA) as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, a Recreational Music Making Specialist, and a Group Piano Teaching Specialist. He was also recognized Most Talented by his 2008 Dora High School Class, serving as an intermission performer for school pageants and

eventually acknowledged as a staunch Michael Jackson performer.

 

Following a seven-year, postsecondary journey, William teaches piano today in Dora, Greystone, Mountain Brook, and Homewood at multiple institutions. Moreover, he teaches Music Theory, Music History, Ear Training, Sight Singing, and hosts student recitals. With an MFA in Acting for Film, William is represented by an acting agency in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2017, he secured a role on Reelz' National Enquirer Investigates as Justin Timberlake. Spanning the southeast, he has landed principle and background roles in several TV series and feature films on set locations in Atlanta, Georgia, Knoxville, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana.

 

William is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild - American Federation of Radio & TV Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Continuing to reside in the Dora/Sumiton area, William remains active as a private music instructor and working actor.
