I believe all of us have a creative side..... sometimes we search for it-but sometimes it searches for us.  I was in my early 50's when I had this INTENSE desire to create.  Being a yoga teacher, I often tell my students to find things that are good for your soul.  So, I set out to find a creative outlet to fulfil the desire of my soul. 

 

I began painting anything and everything, I began photographing every thing that caught my eye. I starting collecting vintage jewelry breaking it down bead by bead excited about the possibilities of what I could create. 

 

I enjoy listening to music and painting what I "see" as I listen.  I'm an intuitive painter, rarely planning ahead.  My preferred medium is acrylic.  There's NOTHING more freeing than letting your brush decide where it wants to go! 

 

My photography is usually in black and white. People fascinate me.  I love photographing them.  Humans are so beautiful and a simple black and white picture can tell many tales.

 

Creating, growing and developing my technique is one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.  It is my hope to inspire others to GO CREATE! 

 

When I'm not in my studio creating, you can find me walking dogs and teaching yoga.
